He provided a detailed overview of the application of SJOV technology in difficult airway management, highlighting its advantages for obese patients, those under deep sedation and anesthesia, as well as during upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. Professor Wei also introduced his invention, the Wei Nasal Jet Tube (WNJ), which is specifically designed for SJOV technology. Developed with the assistance of Well Lead Medical, this second-generation flexible laryngeal mask integrates a gastrointestinal channel, a pharyngeal suction channel, and a ventilation channel, making it particularly suitable for HEENT surgeries.
